ABPI moves forward with energy and purpose into 2026 - a year that promises new connections, learning, and achievements in the world of Intellectual Property.

A key initiative in development is the evolution of ABPI’s traditional International Congress, which will adopt a renewed format—more dynamic and connected to the technological, economic, and social transformations affecting IP.

The proposal is to broaden dialogue, foster new learning experiences, and strengthen integration among professionals, experts, and leaders from Brazil and abroad.

The event is scheduled for August in Rio de Janeiro, in an inspiring setting that will reaffirm ABPI’s role as a reference space for debate and for building innovative pathways for Intellectual Property.

In 2026, under the leadership of Peter Siemsen, president-elect for the 2026/2027 term, ABPI will continue strengthening its institutional partnerships, promoting new thematic forums, advancing Advocacy initiatives, expanding training programs, and supporting regional events that bring the IP community together across the country.
