Events & Engagement

with the IP Community

In 2025, ABPI maintained its leadership in promoting knowledge, innovation, and the strengthening of Brazil’s IP community.
Through a robust calendar of events, trainings, and institutional initiatives, the Association reaffirmed its commitment to the IP ecosystem’s development and to dialogue among public, private, and academic stakeholders.

The 45th International Congress of ABPI, held in August in São Paulo under the theme “Collaboration in the Age of Intelligence,”

Brought together national and international experts and solidified itself as Latin America’s leading IP forum. The program addressed strategic topics such as AI, sustainable innovation, bioeconomy, and public IP policy—reinforcing ABPI’s role as a technical reference and a meeting point between innovation and regulation.

A major milestone was the creation of ABPI’s Young IP Professionals Committee, aimed at inspiring and training new generations, ensuring knowledge continuity and renewal of the IP community. The Committee debuted with Young IP Professional Day, held alongside the Congress, bringing together young talent and experienced professionals for training, exchange, and market integration.
