Regional Chapters: National Expansion & Integration

Regional Chapters:

National Expansion & Integration

In 2025, ABPI’s Regional Chapters reaffirmed the Association’s national leadership in IP.
Through dedicated regional representatives, the chapters were decisive in expanding ABPI’s presence nationwide and consolidating strategic partnerships with GIPI and ENPI.
Throughout the year, regional chapters played an essential role in spreading technical and legal knowledge, training new audiences, and promoting regional dialogue on innovation and IP.

Introduction to

Intellectual Property

A standout initiative was the “Introduction to Intellectual Property” event held in multiple regions—including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, the Federal District, and Recife—bringing professionals, academics, entrepreneurs, and public officials together, strengthening regional innovation ecosystems.

These actions democratize access to IP knowledge and promote regional development through education, innovation, and institutional strengthening—connecting Brazil end-to-end.

ABPI currently has 14 Regional Chapters across the country. Their mission is to foster technical and legal debate on IP in their regions, expand the reach of institutional initiatives, and deepen dialogue with universities, government agencies, business entities, and civil society.

With this decentralized, proactive structure, ABPI reinforces its identity as a plural, collaborative national association committed to advancing IP culture across all regions of Brazil.
